Submitting a Project
Please refer to the Kentucky Biological Assessment Tool Help Document for instructions on how to navigate the site and submit a project. The document is in PDF format and can be quickly navigated using bookmarks and links or by performing text searches within the document.
Project Review
Once you submit your project, a report and a shapefile will be generated for your project area within approximately 5 minutes. The report file contains a letter in response to the submitted project as well as data for federally and state listed species, exemplary natural communities, public and private conservation lands, areas of biodiversity significance, and other natural resources known to occur within the project area for which the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves maintains data. The Standard Occcurence Report Key provides information on the tables and attributes you may see in your report. Your project will be reviewed by Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves staff, and you will be contacted if there are any additional concerns or information you need to be made aware of.
